One of the last uncluttered spaces free of advertising in your local supermarket may be uncluttered no-more if conveyor-belt advertising takes hold.
Personally, most of the newer grocery stores I visit don’t use the conveyor system anyway, with the clerk (or customer for self check-out) just taking the items directly out of the cart or basket.

Keeping with the summer/beach theme, the 'Adapt a Beach' program lets you put your message in front of beach-goers and fight pollution and littering at the same time. Or Beach n Billboard will actually imprint your advertising message into the sand!
Magnetic Car Signs

One marketing idea for those who commute or otherwise spend a lot of time on the road is using magnetic vehicle signs. It seems like it would be one way to put your business name in front of a lot of eyeballs for very little money. I found one site that has prices starting at $9/sign.
For this to be successfull, I’d think you would need to have a fairly memorable business name (or website address), as few people are going to pull out a pen and paper just to copy down your sign information!
